Ramiro Gutierrez is President, Engineered Structures, which produces titanium ingots and mill products for aerospace and defense applications and is vertically integrated to produce titanium forgings, extrusions forming and machining services for airframe, wing, aero-engine, and landing gear components. Engineered Structures also produces aluminum forgings, nickel forgings, and aluminum machined components and assemblies for aerospace and defense applications. The principal end markets served by Engineered Structures are commercial aerospace, defense aerospace, and land and sea defense.

Ramiro joined Howmet Aerospace as Vice President Sales and Marketing, Engine Products in October 2021. Prior to joining Howmet, he was Vice President of Sales in the Active Safety & User Experience Division at Aptiv (formerly Delphi Automotive) overseeing a $6 billion product line and leading business development, customer strategy, new product growth and market share capture initiatives.

Prior to Aptiv, Ramiro served as Senior Vice President Sales for ZF Group, drove account profitability through in close partnership the company’s operational leaders and account teams on four continents. Previously he held several sales positions with TRW Automotive and Dalphimetal Espana in Vigo, Spain.

Ramiro began his career in finance, providing analysis at Popular Bank in Villagarcia, Spain and as Controller at Dalphimetal.

He holds a degree in Business Administration from Vigo & Santiago de Compostela University in Vigo, Spain. Ramiro also graduated from the Executive LEAD program from Ross Business School at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor.
