Recruitment Fraud Warning

What is Recruitment Fraud?

Recruitment fraud is a sophisticated scam that offers fictitious job opportunities with the intent to steal from its victims. It is typically conducted online through unsolicited emails claiming to be from a well-known company. These emails instruct recipients to provide personal information, sign counterfeit letters of employment, organize visas and ultimately request payments. Perpetrators sometimes include without permission the impersonated company’s name and logo in their communications.
